Softbox and speed light mounting hardware
I'm looking for solutions for my 580EXII and PocketWizard TT5, to mount on a bracket that will hold both the 580EXII and PW TT5 and work well with softboxes in range from big to small.
Pictures, links, suggestions welcome!

I would be interested in the same set-up for food photography.

Check out this link
I recently purchased most of this equipment that I saw demonstrated at a Joe McNally weekend workshop. I would highly recommend:

Check out David Ziser's "Digital ProTalk" blog. A ton of good stuff there! I believe I have seen some mounts from Pocket Wizard as well...

On the "Frugal" side, "Velcro" works for me and my Alien Bees! 1 transmitter on top of my camera or velcro to the hot shoe mounted flash
(ttl fill flash only) and the other receivers velcro to each speedlite or studio strobe. Needless to say, an industrial grade velcro is my choice.
Pretty simple...

Bungee Balls are also good as an emergency stop-gap.

Check out FlashZebra, they have a bunch of holders for PWs. Though I just hang them on a convenient locking screw head....
Cheers

Love the bungee ball idea! I forgot about them. Great idea! FlashZebra are great folks too. It's true, "Necessity is the Mother of Invention!"

For the 580EXII & PocketWizard FlexTT5 combo I would try this from Alzo Digital: http://alzodigital.com/online_store/...t_and_ring.htm
P.S. This just came in from my Inbox...Creative Light will be releasing a speedring made for the PocketWizard AC7 RF Shield!

C Stands are the best. They are strong, you can make a boom arm, and use it as a flag. I would recommend many C Stands. I use about 7 on a common shoot.
