Hi I just recently purchased the metal head and the long arm. I already had the ezbox. One question. On the flash bracke where the speedlite hotshoe slides in, the speedlight could easily slide out? Is there a screwlock that could prevent this. I thought about wrapping Velcro around it. Hope I am making sense.

I use interfit's XS bracket, it has 2 cold shoe mounts and allows the use of 'S' type accessories too.

Really well built and will also accept an umbrella

I really like the Strobies XS brackets I just ordered two Speed rings to use my current and future Softboxes, beauty dish, and reflectors with. It use the Bowens Mount. I have 2 brackets that came with 7" reflectors and a 16" beauty Dish. That work with these brackets.

Before discovering these brackets I use PhotoFlex's setup for mounting hotshoe flashes to speedrings via the 1/4-20 mount.

The only problem with the tt5 and 580 flash is it sticks thru the opening quite a bit but the BD is adjustable for that. I may modify the brackets when I have four of them to lengthen them so that the Sto-Fen just protrudes thru the mount.
