    Yongnuo ST-E2

I just got the feed from Strobist about the new Yongnuo "John Snow" ST-E2 device. Anyone have any experience with it?

I'd be curious to read Syl's response as he just posted this: http://speedliting.com/how-to/resist...ion/#more-1856 advising Canonistas not to buy Canon's ST-E2.

I'd be interested in what Syl thinks of these, especially since he just wrote this post on Canon's ST-E2. http://speedliting.com/how-to/resist...ion/#more-1856

Interesting. $148 and takes AA batteries. Anyone tried one of these yet?

This seller is even cheaper... http://cgi.ebay.com/YONGNUO-Speedlit...item2a0a789801

According to the specs, the unit is controllable from the camera menu and has extended range over the original. They also state it can controll three groups... Hum, sounds good. Those claims and battery compatibility with the Speedlites are pretty attractive.
