I'll second that. I've been using teh 2700mAH PowerEx batteries and Ansmann Energy 16 charger for over a year now with no difficulties.

I just want to add my voice to the Powerex users. Nice fast recycle and last for ages in comparison with straight AAs

The standard NiMH Powerex 2700 mAh batteries are probably the best out there. However, they do self-discharge. If you don't mind charging a night or two before you need them, they'll be ready and last a long time. I use the Powerex Imedion 2400 mAh cells as my backup. They have a lower capacity and therefore will not give me as many pops of the flash, but I know they'll be ready to use regardless of when they were charged.

    Eneloop Chargers?

I am thinking of changing over to Eneloops. Do I need to buy new chargers or can I use the chargers from Powerex and Energizer? I know that Sanyo recommend that I do but I would only expect them to do this. Has anyone used non-sanyo chargers? If so, any problems?
